Question #1

I'm in question-mode right now. Here's question #1:  What are/were your (compelling) reasons for going raw?

Just general good health. When I was a kid and learned that we ate for nourishment, I thought we should be eating nourishing food. I was eating hyienically long before I ever heard of NH. Mono fruit during the day and a big salaid for dinner. I'm so thankful that i have found out about NH so I can fine tune everything and all the other aspect of live.

So cool, Martin! When I was a kid I was completely drawn to NH, without even knowing it existed. Then, culture got in the way and I went off on a SAD detour. The rest of my life so far has merely been getting back to where I was...

There were many, of course, but one of the biggest was honestly a desire for true beauty and health.

Hey Sarah! Yup. One 'place' I would love to get to is where my 'problems' are natural, not the one's I brought on myself. I'm very curious as what God had in mind when he designed me (smile)!......ana

There are many reasons for me too. The desire started out, 10 years ago, to be for spiritual reasons & those reasons have only expanded.

Everything is connected but I want a lot of clarity & vitality. I have a lot of things to do in this world & I want all the life force possible to be available to me.

But like Sarah mentioned, the beauty thing is a big PLUS! And those changes (and I LOVE my fruits & shoots so much!) keeps me encouraged to keep going on a daily basis.

I actually had a run in with cooked food on Mother's Day & the stark contrast between staying raw & then eating a cooked meal (even just minimal stuff) is just WAY TOO much to ignore. NH is were it's at!

NICE post above this one too.

Thanks Ana!
